Ashlanta My Utopia

When the New Madrid fault line decided it was time to go off it sent the world into chaos. It started earthquakes all over the United States and Illinois had to come together. We elected a young new republican to rule Illinois. Her name was Ashley. When no one objected we called the new territory Ashlanta.
"Peace is a right and a privilege." It was all the public's idea for this because the ruler was fair and just, and in trying times everyone needs a leader. This is the first time in our nation's history that we have lived in peace for the past 40 years. Our flag is for an era of peace and tranquility. Where everyone works and everyone gets what they earn.
Our animal is the black bear because they can survive almost anything. Including harsh winters and warm summers.

Ten rules
1. No killing. EVER. If you murder someone you will be murdered in a way the is just as harsh if not worse.
2. Fighting is allowed if completely necessary. If not you must find another way to settle your dept. If you break this law, you must spend 48 hours in a prison full of fighters who may or may not decide to hit you.
3. No rape or permeate maiming. If you break this law you will be tortured until you die.
4. No racism or segregation. Everyone is equal. If you break this law you will be put in the stocks or solitary confinement.
5. No stealing or you will have all of you possessions taken away and have to start over.
6.You can make whatever music you want.
7. You can marry whomever you want.
8. You may have as many kids as you want.
9. There is not well-fare. You either make it here or you don't.
10.You are free to do whatever else you want. Any belief any life.
11. Do what makes you happy!
Our government is a democracy, but if you get elected you are in until your 60th birthday or whenever you drop out.
Education will improve, it'll have to. Summer lasts for four months but you have to review what you learned  for at least a half hour total everyday. We can't carry on a perfect society with uneducated children. After 6th grade, a child is allowed to make the decision about whether or not they want to continue to go to school. Taxes are minimal so we can fund schools and there are no private schools. Some schools can teach religion in their school but not every student has to attend if  they do not believe in that religion.

Most adults will start work at 9:00 a.m. unless working a night shift. After a child is born, one parent is allowed to stay home with the child for two years. Then they begin day care. School will start at 8:30 a.m so that parents can take their children to school. School will end at 3:00 P.M. and they will be required to get involved in the community after school, until 5, so their parents can pick them up from school. Adults work ends at 4:30. The children can do whatever they want after school. They can join sports teams, clubs, or get tutoring. They cannot go home unless ill or in a particular distress. No matter what anyone does they should be happy about it. Parents are required to spend at least two quality hours with their children a night. Children can stay out however late they want, listen to music however loud they want and not get i trouble. When you're young, you should express yourself. Parents can set curfews and worry, but people can't call the cops on a 'public disturbances.' They do have to go to school the next day though. Four days a week they go to school, three days a week you have off. For everyone.
