My Interview With Mr Bilbo Baggins.
Me: What was your favorite part about your journey?
Bilbo Baggins(B.B.): My favorite part about the trip as a whole is all of the adventures. You see, I had never been on any adventures before. I had barely even left my hobbit hole. I know throughout the story I complained about missing my home and wanting the comfort back, but I was just scared. I loved those moments.
Me: Out of all the dwarfs, who was your favorite?
B.B.: That's not really a fair question. I didn't have a favorite. I was especially close to Balin. I think somewhere along the trip we just had a bonding moment. We are close still, even to this day.
Me: What were your initial thoughts about the journey to get the treasure and leaving your home?
B.B: Me? A burglar? I hadn't ever stolen anything in my life! That was until the journey of course. I didn't want to leave my home! I was just a little guy and the world was so much bigger than I was! Why would I want to leave and lose all my respect? To this day, I don't know why I went. I don't think I ever will. Maybe it's the Took that's in me.
Me: You said you hadn't ever stolen anything until this trip. What did you steal?
B.B: I could show you better than I could tell you.
Me: What? Bilbo, where'd you go? Oh yes, the ring of Gollum. I heard rumors that you stole it.
B.B: (chuckling) Yes, yes. It was me. I stole the poor Gollum's ring. I also stole the Arkenstone, but I didn't have it for long. It was rightfully Thorin's but he has passed now. I will miss him greatly, my dear friend.
Me: How do you feel about Gandlf?
B.B: I look up to my friend greatly. He can be a pain the behind sometimes, but he is a great man. Except when he's disappearing to and fro. But I do love him and he is a fantastic man.
Well folks you heard it from the Faerie Gaztte first. Mr Bilbo Baggins loves his friends dearly, and is, in fact, a great burglar.
